All the pretty colors

Posted by Peculiar Baptist on September 30, 2009

The Empire state building is lighting up with the colors of red and yellow to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Communist China.  You remember that one its where Mao Zedong (Tse-tung) led the communists to power and between 1949 and 1975 45 million (that is a 45 with six zeros behind it “45,000,000” for you public school kids) people are estimated to have been killed because of his policies.  So we here in the West we are celebrating the Chinese government that tried to eradicate from their culture all traces of Western Civilization.   Only in Obama America.

The audio on this is poor on the initial start but to summarize President Obama commenting on the stunt Kanye West pulled on Taylor Swift refers to Kanye West as a jackass.  I agree with him.  My liberal friends say there is hope for me yet.

OUR FIRST FIGHT AGAINST INTERNATIONAL TERRORISTS
BY KEVIN BAKER

The mission now confronting our nation—to transport a military force to a distant, hostile, Islamic country, subdue a brazen terrorist network, and put an end to the random slaughter and harassment of American citizens—may seem a daunting one. If it is any consolation, though, we have done it before. And if it will be any help in the months and years ahead, we should also know that the last such effort was rife with blunders, delays, and confusion of both purpose and means—as well as stirring feats of heroism and perseverance.  More here
